Ouderen SongFestival
Het Ouderen Songfestival is hét zangfestijn voor 55-plussers die houden van zingen. Iedere liefhebber kan meedoen, ongeacht niveau en repertoire. Het festival richt zich op deelnemers uit het hele land. De voorrondes en de halve finales vinden plaats in diverse provincies. Alle kandidaten worden begeleid door professionele muzikanten. Tijdens de voorrondes door pianist en artistiek leider Kees van Zantwijk, tijdens de halve finales door het Ouderen Songfestival Combo, tijdens de Grande Finale door het Ouderen Songfestival Orkest. Een vakkundige jury beslist welke kandidaten doorgaan naar de volgende ronde. De feestelijke afsluiting is in het hoofdstedelijke DeLaMar Theater. De finalisten strijden om de drie vakjuryprijzen, de publieks- en de internetprijs. In 2021 bestaat het festival, indertijd heel klein begonnen in een Amsterdams bejaardenhuis, dertig jaar.
